Vibration dampening gaskets are composed of foamed or low-density solid rubberi which ensure the lightness of the material, resilience, low density and compressibility. Their main purpose is to provide cushioning and shock absorption, sound insulation and noise reduction, a flexible fit and light filling, and at the same time they offer sealing and protection.
Filled with lots of pores, low-density cushioning rubber gaskets usually raise one main worry at the top of the list - what if, after six months of assembly or the passage of the equipment operation, the gaskets become flattened due to pressure? (This would ultimately lead to the irreversible permanent deformation). As a result, the original sealing and shock absorbing functions will be lost, eventually causing the equipment to produce peculiar sounds, leaks, or loose parts.
Solution:
Shock Absorbing EPDM Gasket from Yida Soft Shock Absorbing incorporates a high-crosslinking density virgin rubber recipe along with closed-cell and microporous foaming control technology. Due to the structural stability of the rubber molecular chains, a strong and elastic support network is built on the cell walls. We are able to accurately determine the dynamic resilience modulus of the material (by changing the expansion ratio, cell size, and rubber formula) according to the specific working conditions.
