1. The flange gasket molds are built to a tolerance of ±0.005mm, which ensures the holes of the flanges will be properly aligned and compliant with ASME/DIN standards.
2. A computerized visual inspection system using CCD devices is conducted to scrutinize the entire batch and detect flash and impurities, which are the most common defects.
3. We have been continuously providing world-leading companies who are influential players in different sectors such as industrial automation, automotive, energy, and medical sectors (for example, Siemens, SMC, Panasonic).
Seal Failure Due to Extrusion Under High-Pressure Conditions
Seals for industrial equipment such as heavy machinery, pump housings, or high-pressure flange connections could be exposed to very high bolt preload and also internal media pressure. The prime problem occurs when rubber gaskets are taken beyond their limits, as physically they suffer the extrusion from the flange edges similar to toothpaste left being squeezed out of a tube.
This sideways extrusion sets off a chain of disastrous effects:
Seal Failure: When one side of the gasket becomes deformed, there is a dramatic loss of contact pressure, resulting in a leak of very high velocity and sudden.
Bolt Loosening: The initial tight bolts will lose their tension when the gasket becomes thin. Thus, it will require manual re-tightening to be shut down frequently.
Safety Hazards: In case of dealing with corrosive or high-temperature media, a "blowout" as a result of extrusion is a major industrial accident.
The Yida Solution:
To tackle the extrusion problems in high-pressure environments, EDA is taking a route to solve the problem through material molecular structure and physical composite design at the same time:
1. High-Modulus Tensile Formulation
We do not go for cheap products loaded with fillers, but instead, use virgin polymers.
Main Benefit: The tensile strength is increased to more than 15 MPa (2175 psi).
Technical Principle: Possessing high tensile strength allows rubber to have excellent molecular cohesion. Thus, when the flange gasket made of rubber is subjected to the extreme lateral pressure of the medium, it is able to keep its shape due to the innate physical rigidity of rubber and therefore, effectively resist the pressure-induced "flowing" tendency.
2. Internal Fabric Reinforcement
When high pressure scenarios arise such as Class 300 or PN40 ratings, we pack high-quality fibers inside the rubber compound.
Structural Characteristics: Depending on specific requirements, there are options for embedded Nylon, Polyester, or Aramid (Nomex) fibers.
Technical Principle: This fiber interlayer is like an internal skeleton of the rubber. It tightly catches the molecules of rubber in a network, which results in excellent tensile strengths in two directions. The flange rubber washer stays stable in form even when a very high bolt tightening force is applied which essentially prevents extrusion occurring.

| Performance Characteristics: | 1. High-Pressure Load Bearing: Features substantial thickness and high density; withstands high-pressure surges without flattening or deforming. |
| 2. Tight Sealing: Achieving a tight seal between the flanges not only helps to ensure a close fit but also makes the seal resistant to the passage of water vapor, oil/gas, and process media. As a result, leakage and seepage are kept to the minimum. | |
| 3. Aging Resistance & Durability: Withstands temperature extremes, weathering, and compression; resists aging and cracking during long-term outdoor or industrial use. | |
| 4. Cushioning & Vibration Dampening: Effectively absorbs equipment vibration, reducing the risk of loosening or leaks at flange connections. | |
| 5. Easy Installation: Because the flange hole spacings are standardized, that means steel frames can be quickly aligned with bolts; also provides great through compatibility." | |
