1. Flashless process: Ultra-precise mold design reduces parting line scars to a minimum.
2. AI-supported complete visual inspection: Inspection features are relying on the exact size, color, shape of the precision O-ring, and the inspection protocol to be followed. Automatic CCD inspection spots major faults; the system automatically detects and rejects defective parts with tiny bubbles, impurities, or burrs.
3. CPK control: We not only provide products that meet specifications; properties of SPC and CPK monitoring are involved in rechecking product specifications in order to standardize them.
"Seal Failure and Assembly Line Stoppage" Caused by Dimensional Deviations
Imperial (AS568) and British (BS 1806) have very stringent dimensional tolerances. Buyers of Imperial O-rings, for instance, medical instrument, precision hydraulics, and aerospace sectors, often find it difficult to get a perfect fit. A mere dimensional difference of 0.05mm can cause:
1. Insufficient compression or over-compression within the sealing groove.
2. Binding or the need for forced installation during assembly.
3. Micro-leaks or pressure decay during long-term operation.
Usually, these problems are not detected during the first trials but they gradually arise throughout the equipment's service life. Eventually, they cause a reduction in sealing efficiency or in some cases, lead to local system shutdowns.
Yida’s Solution:
Our solution combines "micron-level mold precision" with "CCD visual inspection":
We control the precision of mold machining to an accuracy of 0.005mm: To make molds, we use Japanese Makino machining centers which allow us to maintain very good consistency for the O ring imperial cross-section measurement. This ensures the O rings meet the AS568 standard and work with the standard groove designs, thus reducing the chances of assembly problems and sealing failure due to dimensional variations.
