1. Silicone parts have a broad temperature range for operation (-60°C to 260°C) and very good resistance to long-term weathering.
2. We perform compression molding and vulcanization so that our parts are not only smooth but uniform in quality from batch to batch.
3. Silicone rubber parts have a compression recovery rate of more than 90% and a compression set of ≤25%, so they can be expected to perform without failure even when compressed dynamically.
Irregular, non-standard silicone components usually show considerable changes in size during mass production, which can cause sealing failures or very tight fitting during assembly. This results in multiple times of mold modification or even changing molds, which leads to interruption of the project delivery schedule.
Solution:
To ensure dimensional accuracy, we first implement quality control directly at the source by designing and fabricating individual molds strictly according to customer's drawings or samples. By employing a high-temperature compression molding and vulcanization method, we closely monitor the temperature and pressure of the material in a closed loop system, thus guaranteeing uniformity in material flow and mold filling every cycle. Major dimensions can be maintained within ±0.02 mm (subject to product structure). Besides, the single-step molding of intricate features such as holes, bosses, and snap-fits is achievable by this process, which drastically reduces or completely does away with the secondary trimming.
Introduction to Silicone Parts:
Made from premium quality silicone rubber materials, these components are manufactured by using the combined high-temperature compression molding and vulcanization process. They have a precise shape, have good elasticity, and accurate measurements. Not only that, they can be made into different irregular and complex shapes. They also serve a variety of functions like sealing, cushioning, thermal insulation, anti-slip, and electrical insulation. That is why they are widely used in other industries and during high and low temperature working conditions.

Based on drawings or samples, we support mold opening that enables customized production of any uniquely-shaped structure. Parameters such as size, thickness, aperture, and structure can be changed according to the customers' requirements. Besides, we possess intricate processing capabilities like drilling, slotting, bosses, and buckles.
Regarding the performance of the material, we are able to change hardware levels and resistance to different temperatures flexibly. Besides, we can supply features like food-grade or flame retardant. More than that, we also do insert molding and one-piece molding of silicone-coated metal or plastic.

Based on the Product Information Above, The Advantages of Molded Silicone Parts Are Summarized as Follows:
1. Weather and temperature resistance under harsh conditions.
Silicone components have a very large temperature operating range: -60°C... +230°C, with short-time heat resistance up to 260°C. They can stay flexible and even not harden at extreme cold temperatures. On the other hand, they do not get soft, change their shape or give off smells at high temperatures. Besides, the material itself is very resistant to ozone and UV rays, so it can withstand outdoor conditions for a very long time.
2. Integrated molding for consistent mass assembly.
Using high temperature, we combine compression molding and vulcanization in one step so that the resulting material is dense and seamless with a tensile strength ranging from 4.0 MPa to 12.5 MPa, giving it resistance to breaking. This method allows for non-standard customization such as different inner diameters, thicknesses, and complex shapes to be made, thus ensuring high consistency in mass production and excellent fit for assembly. It can handle needs from precision electronic keypads and sealing rings to complicated over-molded parts.
3. Elastic deformation and long-lasting sealing/cushioning performance.
The products have a compression recovery rate of more than 90% and can be stretched to 700% before breaking. Along with a low compression set (≤25% at 100°C for 22 hours), they can stand up against the loosening or breaking caused by prolonged, repeated compression or dynamic deformation. This feature is very important for the products that operate at a high frequency or are under pressure for a long time, e.g. valve seals, shock absorber pads, and diaphragms.
4. Safety, environmental compliance, and resistance to media corrosion.
Our molded silicone components come in a food grade silicone which is in compliance with the FDA regulations for food contact. They are non-toxic, odorless, and safe to be in contact with food and maternal/infant products. Besides food safety, they exhibit a good resistance to water vapor, weak acids and alkalis, and frequently encountered fluids (oils, steam, and coolants). Besides, materials can be easily modified with special properties - for example, flame retardancy, electrical conductivity, or anti-static capabilities - to satisfy the demands of specific industries.

What Applications Are Our Prototype Silicone Rubber Parts Suitable For?
Our selection of molded silicone is quite versatile. We work with general silicone, high-resilience and high-transparency fumed silicone, food-grade silicone (according to food contact standards) as well as high-temperature silicone (up to 260°C), flame-retardant silicone and conductive/anti-static silicone.
These materials meet the needs of various sectors—like home appliances, kitchenware and bakeware, medical devices, consumer electronics, automotive interiors, lighting, automation equipment, sanitary ware and plumbing, new energy, instrumentation, and high-temperature steam applications—each of which has specific performance and safety needs that the industries must satisfy.

FAQ:
1. Will parting lines or flash appear on the product surface? Is secondary processing required?
Through the application of accurate temperature control and closed-loop pressure systems, seamless parting lines after molding are guaranteed. Intricate structures such as holes, slots, and snap-fits can be created during one operation, thereby most products need only be trimmed very slightly.
2. How strong is the bond between the silicone component and metal or plastic inserts? Is delamination likely?
Bond strength is great provided that the operating conditions are right. With an integrated insert-molding technique, we combine the use of primers and highly efficient vulcanization parameters to obtain a tight bond with high peel strength that can be used over a long period of time even when subjected to dynamic loads or changes in temperature.
